We're back!

You don't have to say it. We know we have neglected the blog for months but we'll try to do better. Promise. Since it's too long to play catch-up at this point I'll just start with a photo dump and get back to witty commentary you have come to expect next time. In the meantime in no particular order....The Kids!

October was fun!

What can I say about October? Started off with beautiful Indian Summer weather, then the Sox were eliminated from the playoffs and it turned cold. The highlight of the fall was Grandma and Grandpa came up from VA to see Nate and Avery. We all went up to NH to see Uncle Joe, Aunt Lynda, Martha, Meredith and their trampoline. We played in the leaves, went trick or treating...why am I telling you this? Just look at the pictures!

Summer photo dump

We've been busy this summer and spent a lot of time in Maine, just as we had hoped. We dodged a lot of raindrops but had a great time overall. What can I tell you that these picks don't say? Nuthin' that's what.

OK, I guess this last one needs a little explanation. The summer was wet. Really wet, and the driveway to the cottage never really recovered but as usual Avery made the most of it. She's like a little mud hippie.

Nice weather...

...for ducks. Fortunately our lucky ducks don't know all this rain is a drag. You know what they say, when life gives you lemons make lemonade, just don't cut it with THAT water, please.

Lamest post ever

Yeah, I know we have been lazy with the blog. We have kept ourselves busy since the warm weather hit and by the end of the day I just don't have it in me to provide the wit you have all come to expect on this blog. Regardless, I figured some new pics were in order so with no particular theme or relevance, here is the June photo dump...

Spring!!!

Man, I can't believe that last post was Nate on the sled. We have certainly gotten lazy with our posts. Well spring is here and here are some highlights.

Avery turned 1 in March so she got to rip into an Elmo cupcake to celebrate. Here's the carnage in TechniColor!

We have finally been able to make a few trips to the "big park". Sure, the grass is still the color of the moon but that doesn't stop Nate from requesting a picnic, complete with baggie full of Chex Mix® and Kraft® Singles.

We also took a trip into the city to see Uncle Jim and Aunt Teresa, who we don't see nearly enough considering we only live about :15 min from Boston.

No trip is complete without stopping to see Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Ouack, Pack, and Quack.

However, I think the highlight of Nate's day was getting to take the leash and walk Dixie Dog through the Commons. I think Dixie liked it too.
