Apple Orchard
Last weekend we went to a local apple orchard to kill some time and look at goats, etc. Plus I also saw that this place had homemade cider donuts, which was all the motivation I needed to go. Nate had fun, and we got to go on a hayride. Here we are looking apprehensive as the tractor started up:

"Hey! Hay!"
Nate is big on snacking these days. He has just begun to have writhe-on-the-floor tantrums, and so far they have all been in correlation with his not being able to get into the pantry to eat whatever he wants at any given time. From what I can see, the tendency to snack heavily seems to be genetically predisposed on both sides of the family, so he is probably doomed to a life of no self snacking control. Here he is double fisting some orchard snacks:

They stuck the goats up in these weird platforms that looked like makeshift border security. MinuteGoats.

1. Whats a cider donut? Mmmm, that sounds really good.
2. Nater looks like he has so much fun with his cool parents.
3. Gorgeous smile on that boy, as always. What a cutie.
4. What the heck, you are JUST NOW getting the writhe on the floor tantrums? Enjoy, they are soooo fun when other people are looking at you, judging, staring....love it. You guys are already cool about it but there's a great book called "Scream Free parenting" that has some great suggestions for such behavior. Have I told you about that before?
5. Hannah is the snack queen. I figure "who am I to tell her how to eat" so I guess I'll just go with it. You can see from all her pictures that she snacks like crazy. We oughta call her "little debbie."
6. WTF with the goat?
and lastly
Allison, I'm sure you may feel like doo but you look fantastic. I loved seeing your profile beside Nates. It's so cool to see your similarities.
Chris, I still owe you CDs. I haven't forgotten!!!
Enjoy your weekend Fialas!

He has had only a couple floor tantrums, but one of them was in the Container Store. It was hard not to sympathize.

Would this be a local Maine orchard, or does Mass. have that kind of stuff? Even though I know there are very rural areas in MA, I just can't get it through my thick head that not all of the state looks like Brighton.
