Recent Developments...

1. For the last week, Nate has slept from approximately 9 pm to 7 am in his own crib, non-stop. Oh, oh yes.

2. He can sort of hold his bottle (see pic).

3. He rolled over today for the first time, but I missed it. I put him on his tummy for some more godawful 'tummy time' and then walked into the next room to eat a fistful of chocolate easter candy. When I returned seconds later he was on his back! I couldnt get him to repeat the trick but I guess this means Tummy Time was not a total waste of time, like I was beginning to suspect.

4. He has learned how to make dolphin-like squealing noises during this past week, and he is getting more and more vocal in general. Soon he will telling me how much he hates me and how I should stay out of room.

5. We got a new carseat because he is too tall for his infant seat, and it's pretty cool looking. It's got a holstein print fabric cover (cowmooflage). He seems to like it fine.

6. He has a bit of rice cereal now and then, even though I am in no rush to introduce a variety of solid foods yet. The tiny amounts of rice cereal he's had have changed his poops enough for me to fear what REAL foods will do it them.
