Seriously - the cuteness? It is exploding my head. Especially in that first one, where a pensive Nate affectionately twines his toddler fingers with Avery's infant ones. Awesome, even if it only lasts for the next five minutes.
Sure it'll last. You can see in his eyes as he holds her that Nater is taking this whole big brother thing seriously. The first picture looks like he's having the conversation in his mind "And I promise I'll always defend you if someone takes your toys....." You guys can pat yourselves on the back for that too. The pics are stunning. It's almost like you have a photographer in the family. Weird coincidence?
Allison, what beautiful children you and Chris have! Really blessed! Good luck and have fun with two. It is quite an adventure. Also, the first picture is so beautiful...it brought a tear to my eye. There is nothing like watching your first child with your second baby. What a wonderful thing, don't you think?
