We have a 2 year old!
Nate just turned 2 and we celebrated the occasion over Thanksgiving at Gram and Grampy B's in Maine (Allison, Uncle Nick and Aunt Amanda's birthdays were also observed, but their presents were way less fun than Nate's Bristle Blocks).
The biggest benefit to having a birthday over a holiday weekend is the abundance of alternative desserts on which gorge upon.
Fork? I don't need no stinkin' fork!
With Christmas just around the corner Nate shows us his best Ralphie impression.
Hey kid, you'll shoot your eye out!
Tonight we put up the tree. Nate was pretty into helping his mom with the ornaments. He was mesmerized by every one of them. This is going to be a fun Christmas!

Aw Nate, he's much cuter than Ralphie ever thought of being!
What a patient little helper with the tree too. Hannah's idea of helping with the tree was to break balls.....not unlike her mother in that arena...hehehe, okay that was inappropriate. You can take the girl out of the south.......

Christmas with children seems far more fun than a bunch of adults sitting around a room taking turns patiently taking the paper off of presents. Really takes the fun out of things....
